The driver of the pickup, a 30-year-old man from Granbury, suffered critical injuries, while the semi-truck driver escaped the crash unharmed.

Two people were killed on January 10th when a Ford F-150 pickup truck collided head-on with an oilfield tanker along Farm-to-Market Road 1208 just east of Midland. The vehicles were quickly engulfed in flames and both drivers died at the scene.

The Texas DPS later identified the pickup truck driver as a 30-year-old Midland man, while the driver of the oilfield tanker was identified as a 44-year-old man from Miami, Florida.
