Six Injured – Two Critically – After 18-Wheelers & Five Vehicles Collide on I-20 In Sweetwater, Texas

 

 

At least six motorists were injured tragically Friday afternoon, following a collision along I-20 in Texas that involved two 18-wheelers and five other vehicles.

The July 21st pile-up occurred around 1:00 p.m., in the eastbound lanes of the interstate at mile-marker 247 near Sweetwater.

Two Airlifted After 18-Wheelers Sandwich Vehicle

Two motorists were critically injured when their vehicle was sandwiched between the 18-wheelers. Both were airlifted to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

Four others were also transferred, but their condition is not known.

According to KTAB TV, investigators are still working to determine the cause of the 18-wheeler crash.
