A plant explosion earlier today in Gallipolis, Ohio injured 3 workers, according to a report from WSAZ.com.

The blast occurred at GKN Sinter Metals located on Eastern Avenue at 12:54 p.m.

Gallipolis Police Chief Jeff Boyer told WSAZ that the 3 injured workers were transferring metal outside of the plant when the incident occurred.

All 3 workers were taken to a local hospital for treatment, but, thankfully, are expected to survive.

The fire is reportedly out, but the investigation into exactly what caused this GKN Sinter plant explosion remains ongoing.
