Two Empresa Energy Workers Suffer 2nd & 3rd Degree Burns

The Empresa Energy plant is located on Duer Wagner Road, off of Cycle Plant Road in Bossier Parish. The facility produces refrigerant gases from liquified petroleum gas and natural gas.

According to KSLA News 12, the explosion occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Two men were transported to the University Health hospital burn unit for second and third-degree burns to the upper portion of their bodies. No other information on their condition has been reported.
