The July 19th accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. along Texas Highway 82 at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. According to the Port Arthur Police Department, the fatal crash involved an LSJ Trucking vehicle and a Hotard charter bus.

“While authorities continue to investigate this tragic crash, we send our condolences to the family and friends of those involved in this unfortunate incident,” the statement read.
