If It Weren’t For Zehl & Associates, I Would Have Lost Everything

VIDEO POSTER

The explosion on June 13 was life-changing for me. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I literally thought we were going to perish. There was just so much fire, so much running.

We got to a gate—maybe about 300 people—and everybody was screaming, trying to get out. People started literally climbing across the gate and getting cut up. It was terrifying. It has truly changed my life. I don’t think I could ever work in a plant again.

The company was a total letdown. As soon as the plant got back up, they were trying to get people back to work. They didn’t really care if you were hurt or not, they just wanted you back. The doctors weren’t helpful, and they weren’t trying to get you real treatment. Even the belongings we lost in the plant, they didn’t return. It was just a letdown—you realized you were just a number to them.

I talked to a lawyer in Baton Rouge, but he said he wasn’t equipped enough to handle the load from such a big company. He referred us to Zehl & Associates in Texas, because they had the manpower and experience needed for big explosions and company tragedies. With me having nine kids, I needed somebody who could really take care of this for me.

I am very happy with the outcome. My experience with Zehl & Associates was great. There was never a time I called and didn’t get a call back. If I wanted to change doctors, they helped me get another one. If I had stayed with the Baton Rouge firm, I think I would have lost out on a lot. Zehl really helped me and worked for me, and I’m glad I chose them.

I recommend Zehl & Associates to anyone with a large case who needs a firm with the manpower and the know-how to get the job done.
