The Petroxychem plant explosion in Pasadena killed 1 worker and injured 3 others on Saturday, according to ABC13.

The blast occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Plant employees and contractors were reportedly conducting a “routine function” when the contractor’s equipment is alleged to have ignited.
Police on the scene stated that an unspecified rupture caused a spill and exposed at least 2 workers to the unidentified hazardous materials.
